Behind the Brand

Hello my name is Rebeca and I am the creator of Fran+Livy. With my daughter Olivia I discovered a new world, the world of babies, which is a journey full of joy but also I know now how overwhelming it can be sometimes.

In this new world I found that babies are very delicate and can have different types of allergies or sensitive skin and this inspired me to research different topics. This is how I found about Peruvian Pima Cotton, the best fabric for babies! 

When babies are small or specially newborn, they have this delicate skin that we need to care for from dryness, rash, itching, etc; from all types of allergens that can cause these horrible and sometimes painful reactions.

Pima Cotton offers the hypoallergenic aspect that we need for little ones eliminating any concern of harshness on the skin. This fabric provides a gentle feel and protects the skin from additional irritants; is harvested by hand, is environmentally friendly, has bright white fibers and is virtually free from impurities.  

I am pregnant again and I want to encourage parents like me that have experienced some difficulties with allergies or sensitive skin with their children and want or need to prevent it, and especially inform new parent’s about the importance of using quality fabrics to protect the skin of your babies.
